System C partners with Florence Nightingale Foundation Bring Leadership Programme
9th August 2022
System C and the Florence Nightingale Foundation (FNF) have joined forces for the second year to deliver a leadership development training programme for early digital career nurses, midwives, pharmacists and allied health professionals embarking on a career in digital healthcare leadership.
There are more than double the number of delegate spaces this year. The programme will be offered to 20 delegates, out of which eight will be sponsored by System C for its customers. The rest will be open to other organisations. It will be delivered via a three-day, in-person course in London, between 22-24 November.
Goals of The Early Digital Healthcare Leadership Programme
The Early Digital Healthcare Leadership Programme aims to prepare digital healthcare professionals for future leadership positions and offers the opportunity to exhibit their knowledge and influence at a systems level. It also focuses on maintaining effective healthcare whilst successfully embedding digital solutions into practice.
Positive Feedback from Last Year's Participants
Professor Gemma Stacey, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Florence Nightingale Foundation commented: “The feedback from participants was so positive last year, with many people commenting that they found it inspiring, energised, and that they learned things that they could apply immediately to their day-to-day roles."
“If you are an aspiring digital healthcare leader, this is a valuable opportunity to strengthen your ability to successfully influence and impact on digital change within your organisation."
“The digital leads will need to educate and engage the wider healthcare workforce as part of their role, and it is important they understand and reiterate the need to embrace digital methods without losing touch with personal patient care.”
The application and selection process will be independently managed by the Florence Nightingale Foundation. Expressions of interest should be registered with the Foundation.
The FNF is a highly regarded national charity focusing on improving health, clinical outcomes and patient experience by building nursing, midwifery and AHP’s leadership capacity and capability.
